Course outline
Shaft Alignment Expert
Introduces people to the importance of aligning shafts on rotating equipment, including alignment using a straight edge, dial indicator gauges, or laser alignment devices. By the end of this course you will understand the importance of shaft alignment, the various methods used, and how to perform the task.
Pump Expert
This course begins with a basic introduction, then gradually moves the learner through to being a pump expert. After completing the course, trainees will have a thorough understanding about pump types, selection, specifying, procuring, installing commissioning, maintaining the asset and its reliability.
Slurry Pump Selection
After completing the Slurry Pump Selection Course, trainees become experts in Centrifugal Slurry Pump selection. Trainees are taught the importance of selecting slurry pumps to suit the process needs, then to reduce wear rates by understanding the materials, hydraulics, and design conditions. Wear pattern examples are detailed.
Centrifugal Pump Vibration Analysis
After completing the Pump Expert Course, trainees are taught how to analyse FFT vibration reports on Centrifugal Pumps. On completion of the course, the trainee will have a thorough understanding of the forces creating the vibration, and how to identify and correct pump faults via proven asset management and reliability techniques.
